2. The founding fathers recognized that bipartisan government
is the only way to prevent extremism.

We need to respectfully consider everyone's point of view. The Republicans need to be seen as the loyal opposition, not the evil demons from hell.

4. Yeah, except if you give them an inch they want a mile. They don't want...
to play nice... There is no good spirit in many of these newer Republicans..

5. Where did they mention bi-partisan government?
Edited on Fri Dec-14-07 04:34 PM by BurtWorm
What you propose only works if both parties are respectful and neither one is extreme. Doesn't work in the circumstance we currently find ourselves in.

7. Loyal to what?
Obviously not the United States Constitution.

8. Respectfully consider racism, bigotry, greed, hate, and the rest of the puke
platform? Are you nuts?

The founding slave-owning fathers stuck us with the tyranny of the small states with their political organization of our government and we are suffering for it still.

In addition, unless both sides play by the same rules, playing "fair" is a sure route to losing. Personally, I would rather win.

9. Except they now are, without a doubt, deeply related to the Nazis
And not just psychologically or how Ann Coulter's words can INSTANTLY be transformed into a Nazi diatribe simply by changing Liberals to Jews and America to Germany.

It's too late, old Fiziwig, to place nice with evil people. With totalitarian murderers and their weak-minded, immune-to-conscience-or-shame followers.

This is not something I came to lightly or quickly. It took twenty years of watchingthe cancer grow befre I was sure.

Now I am sure.

What you say would hold true if we were not facing the grandchildren of those men who hav already tried to eradicate the American Experiment once and drag us into DubyaDubyaTwo onthe side of Hitler.

Now the grandchildren are fufilling the Grandfather's dreams, even though they had to take the long way around.

10. So tell me how it prevented the current extremism.
Playing nice has really kept our democracy and Constitution alive, hasn't it?

12. They wanted nonpartisan, not bipartisan, government.
They feared the rise of "factions." Naive bastards.

Best thing to do is get their voters hip to the scam they're running on the American people.
