when its a general thing like Impeachment and they are supposed to just stick their heads in the sand and ignore the issues... they really don't like to answer or just give general statements...
The last letter I received he said that he wasn't aware of anyone drafting Articles of Impeachment against Bush... So, I called his office, and I told him that Dennis Kucinich was working on the Bill... and that his support would be quite favorable to me and a lot of people I know. I also told the lady that if Impeachment hearings began, the President could not use Executive Privelage to hide his admin. actions. The findings would only lead to Impeachment and most likely jail sentences for many in the White House. I also told her that is was very important to me that these signing statements that he has enacted need to be recinded.. If someone like Hillary Clinton was to become President, I would not doubt that she would use Bush's power grabbing for her own purposes. And she stated that she was very glad that I called and that it was very important to have these kinds of calls supporting my position.... In the letter I received, they wrote: "Rest assured that I will remember your strong support for holding the President accountable for any role he may have played in violating the Constitution or U.S. Law. I will share your thought with my HOuse colleagues. I am certain they will benefit from your views." This line is very important, especially coming from a Republican. There appears to me an in-fight, and the regular Republicans may be ready to step it up and throw the Neo-cons out. There is a general understanding that the Constitution and U.S. Law has been violated... that is not a question... A turning point indeed. Before he wouldn't admit that there were possibly any violations.
