Another tale from a real "patriot"
So we went to dinner, and my mom went to the bathroom. My dad was outside. And this kid, prime military age, was going over them damn Mesxicans invading murica, and how he was the ONLY patriot.

So I turned and told him... go home and google DD-4 and then go to the recruiter and join up

He started with the usual excuses and of course I have that dem furiener accent. I calmly pulled Military ID out and told him, as a wife of a US Navy Chief Retired. submarine service, I am insulted that this so called Patriot refuses to serve his country. I also added... chickenhawks are all noise and no real valor. They are far from being real patriots. Real patriots are those who step forwards, and suit up... not those who are all talk and no action.

He got beet red, but decided that silence was the better course of action

Thankfully... my mom didn't see the small scene.

1. See, that's where we men have something of an advantage.
You see, it's real easy for us guys to just whip it out and piss on someone like that's leg. Which to my mind is an entirely appropriate response to someone like him. ;-)

Sounds like the young not-so-worthy was a bit in his cups.

2. Well at one time I had my Mexican Red Cross ID, not that he'd get it
and I have been under fire. He was going over how we would be really, and I mean this "kindly" REALLY brave if the Mexican Army invaded. After all he'd be on the front lines fighting them in the Battle of San Diego (There was one, but he was late by about oh 150+ years)

I guess once he found himself under fire by them 5.56 FAL Rifles and the 50 Cal HMGs he'd be a little brown down south... if you get me drift. Not that the Mexican Army will cross the border any time soon. They are a tad overcommitted in the war on drugs and that little matter about Chiapas.

Still the fact that he was confronted by a military wife... was enough to make the crowning sound less valorous.

;-)

And they deserve that every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
