1. Isn't it a federal crime to deface money?

18. I realize that.
I didn't mean to imply that Paul, himself, was defacing currency.

22. I respect the way he runs his campaign
I dont like his views and would never vote for him but you have to hand it to the guy, he proved that a nobody (a nobody with a decent bank account) could really get out there and make a change in the political system.

5. I've come across more than a few Bills that say "Impeach Bush".
Crime, Shmime. I'm not a Ron Paul fan, but I think one would have a hard time proving this was some sort of organized activity by his campaign.

6. Yes it is...
Defacement of Currency

Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

Defacement of currency in such a way that it is made unfit for circulation comes under the jurisdiction of the United States Secret Service. Their mailing address is:

United States Secret Service
950 H Street, NW
Washington, DC 20223.

10. How ironic, considering this is the guy who wants to abolish the Federal Reserve
an inch or so above the RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT would be the words FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE!

14. Are you coming
to the Big Easy for the Big Game? Read an article in the T-P sports section today about how there is more demand for tickets then supply in Hawaii.

Hey, that looks just like the dollar in my wallet except without the ron paul stamp.

19. You've only got one dollar in your wallet?
That won't get you very far at the Alpine, my friend!

Alas, a feeding frenzy has ensued over the tickets, with UH having to get some back that it had surrendered to the bowl committee. I've heard that the company that shuttles thousands upon thousands of locals to and from Vegas is doing a Vegas/NOLA package, but haven't seen anything. Meanwhile the paper tells me that one guy is getting there this way: to LA or SF, then Chicago, then Biloxi followed by an hour shuttle ride. Ye gods.

Back on topic: Dr. Paul seems to have a solution for everything else. Maybe he's got a way to get us there! :sarcasm:

21. The
Biloxi/Gulfport Airport is a pretty good place to fly into or out of. Its a mile from I-10 then a straight shot to New Orleans. My wife used to fly out of there all the time to go home to Momma until she found a direct flight from New Orleans to Kansas City. I'm looking forward to the bowl gaggles, it brings different colors to the quarter, awesome displays of testosterone laden fandom, a new collection of T-shirts and fresh breasts. I'm saving up my "dollars" for a blackened shrimp po-boy. I should have enough by the New Year.

Heard Paul on NPR. He lost my vote, but he never had it in the first place.

80 degrees and sunny right now.

24. I've Seen Several Of Them...
The "Paulistas" are very active in my area. The first time I saw them they were circulating petitions to impeach Crashcart...I almost signed until I saw who they were. I've also seen several campaign offices pop up in the past couple months...i haven't seen any other Repugnican in our area yet. He's drawing off a lot of the fringe/libertarian wing...a strange mix of Naderites with "state rights" Repugnicans and suvivalists and conspiracy nuts.

The last time I saw the dollar bill trick used was with Lyndon LaRouche.
