1. McCain won't get nominated. And both of them have more FP experience than Huckabee or Romney

2. Well McCain has about as much chance of getting the nomination as I do.
But compared to Giuliani or McCain they would start out with a few strikes against them - on Foreign policy Americans are looking for a strong father figure to protect us from the bad guys. McCain, Giuliani, Thompson, all can play that roll a bit better than Edwards or Obama (and Bush for that matter). That said, they are all essentially promising to continue the same evil and bad policies of the Bush Administration, and hopefully Edwards and Obama are smart enough to point that out, again and again and again.

3. foreign policy is only a small part of getting elected.

There are alot of pieces to the election puzzle.

Appearance, Message, Passion, and the ability to inspire people win elections(along with Diebold).

Joe Biden is a great Senator but comes across as full of himself and does not inspire people to a large degree.

McCain is a Republican version of Joe Biden.

14. He is not different when it comes to Richardson...
because he is another one who repeats, the same old same old speeches. The others at least explain what they will do in different words.

4. Today's CNN poll: Edwards 52%, McCain44%; Obama 48%, McCain 48%; Hillary 48%, McCain 50%
I think those numbers fairly accurately reflect how our candidates would do against McCain on foreign policy and other issues.

12. GE polls mean EVERYTHING if the question you are asking is who's our strongest candidate. If you
are asking who will we nominate without regard to whether they stand a chance in November 2008, head-to-head polls are useless.

6. An experienced VP will neutralize the debate.
They are both strong intelligent speakers and McCain is a chimp-parrot. Nobody wants to hear that waronterra shit anymore.

7. First of all McCain is not going to be the nominee and second "experience" in foreign policy isn't
what it used to be thanks to Dick Cheney.

8. Edwards will easily win the general election.
Working people know who he will represent. Does the Democratic Party want more of the same, or do they want to 'go back' to the working people of this country for their base?
