The green philosophy of Dennis Kucinich

Dec. 11, 2007 | He may be eating the front-runners' dust in the polls, but among deep green voters, Dennis Kucinich is considered a trailblazer. A Democratic U.S. representative from Cleveland, Kucinich is calling for a radical overhaul of the U.S. government and economy -- one that would infuse every agency in the executive branch with a sustainability agenda, phase out coal and nuclear power entirely, and call on every American to ratchet down their resource consumption and participate in a national conservation program.

It's a good article and gives us even more reason to support Dennis!

Go Dennis! :woohoo:

2. I love Dennis so much. I wonder where the other candidates are on nuclear.
Its good to hear him address this. I wonder still if there aren't clean ways to burn coal, but for now we should be focusing 100% on zero emission renewables, because a future powered by those is a beautiful place. But to me nuclear energy is likely to be a HUGE temptation as the energy crunches start to come on, and I don't think its a good idea.
