Condi the not-so-great Communicator. Mideast talks end with little progress
Talks between Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, initially billed as a new U.S. push to restart peace efforts, ended Monday with little progress other than a commitment to meet again. In a 90-second statement following the two-hour meeting, Rice said the three discussed the changed political circumstances arising from a Palestinian power-sharing deal that includes Hamas militants.

Neither Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas nor Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert joined Rice as she delivered her statement, and she left the room without taking questions from reporters. Israeli and Palestinian officials were not immediately available to comment on the talks.

Rice said she would return soon, although she was not precise, and Olmert and Abbas said they would meet separately. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said there is no date for another three-way meeting.

1. Pitiful
I don't know enough about past SoSs to state that she's the worst ever, but I'd wager she's at the bottom of the list. What the fuck has Condi accomplished? A big fat goose egg. That's what.

She's part of the Bush coup', "ALL INCOMPETENT DRONES".

3. It's way beyond time to call in Big Dawg.
Stop loathing him and embrace his wonderful diplomacy skills. He'll fix this thing in a week. OF course, Bush will have to budge on a few things, and that will never happen. You know that Condi's idea of diplomacy is walking into a room and saying, "It's our way or you're gonna get bombed." The woman is a disaster. How they ever made her Secretary of State is beyond me.

5. She's an educated black woman with a corruptible ego-mechanism
An obvious recruit to the neocon cause.

I'm not sure Condi would have been all that bad if she hadn't been "affirmatively actioned"*** into the NeoCon bullpit. She's basically a weak person, and by the time she found out how bad they were, she was up to her neck in the effects of her incompetence (e.g. that little statement about Niger in the SOTU).

The neocons are great at putting people in over their heads, competency-wise, and then using them like puppets.

*** Got a problem with that? Think about it. What qualified her to be National Security Advisor? And by the way, how was her performance between Jan. 2001 and Sept. 11, 2001? And what about that stellar performance readied her for the highest diplomatic position in the Country? And how is that "peace process" in the middle east going?

4. Worst. Government Employee. Ever.
Wanna a good job done bad, Condi's your woman. From "not expecting people could fly planes into buildings" despite seeing a PDB that said so to her inane comments on Saturday of how things were "calming down and progressing" in Baghadad...then the next day 50 people die in yet another car bombing. This lady is clueless and inept.

Thanks to boooshie firmly sitting at Olmert's side, the US role in any I/P negotations is both disengenous and doomed to failure. There's too much bad history, broken promises and no follow through by this regime for Rice to be taken seriously. Recently I chatted with a good friend from Israel who says how little respect most Israelis now have for booosh...and specifically for Rice. They felt hung out to dry in last year's war and that as long as booosh is such a polarizing figure in the Arab world, this hurts Israel's security and future...they want nothing to do with either...and can't wait to get rid of Olmert, too.

6. She probably told they she had not seen any of their faxed proposals....
Her favorite line of "I have not seen that" is just not credible.

Can you imagine the look of the other leaders when she lays that one on them?
