They just called me for some money--stating, in fact, that, to keep up with other contributors in my state, I would need to give them $180. When I informed the caller that my money is "off the table" as long as impeachment is "off the table," she actually had a canned anti-impeachment argument ready for me.

Now, you know that she was just a telephone solicitor and not a card-carrying party operative. So, for her employer, the DCCC, to have trained her to argue against impeachment only confirms for me that a) they get a LOT of "Impeach Bush/Cheney" responses and b) their position against impeachment is so entrenched that they actually allocate a portion of their budget to disseminate anti-impeachment propaganda.

Fuck 'em and the horse they rode in on.

intend to wait it out and hope Hillary gets in and closes the books for BushInc and the power Dems who helped cover for BushInc all these years.

They BELIEVE we are stupid enough to let the whitewashing of Bush2 happen just as the whitewashing for Bush1 went on throughout the 90s.

9. Don't look to CIA tapes to support impeachment - already

the press is reporting the CIA was advised by WH legal NOT to destroy the tapes. Either the propaganda machine is running overtime or WH legal thought that, even for the Admin, this would be over the line.

3. The DCCC called me too and I pretty much told them the

same thing you told them. I said I will not donate another dime until the Dems stand up to the bush administration and Pelosi puts impeachment ON THE TABLE. After I said that, I had a totally different response from the telephone solicitor. She said to me, "I don't blame you." I was totally shocked!

Took 3 times before she got it. Kept saying, "But could you give something, at least the same as last year?" Finally I screamed and I do believe she got it then.
