You caused me my childhood to lose
I'll carve out your heart because you hardened mine
You beer-guzzling loser, you death-monging cruiser
You maker of ten o'clock news

Someday I'll get you, you sorry excuse
Your actions are etched in my soul
I'll carve out your heart because you poisoned mine
You chronic pretender, you rank elbow-bender
You always surrender control

Someday I'll get you, you soulless old sot
You've filled me with hatred and rage
I'll carve out your heart if you have one to carve
You reckless life-taker, you young widow-maker,
You filler of untimely graves

Someday I'll get you, you son of a bitch
You robbed me of part of my life
I'll carve out your heart because you, you broke mine
You sick drunken bastard, you buck-passing master
You subhuman mocker of life

Today, I shared time with precious people trimming and decorating a tree (all in white). My focus is on that piece of joy. I tend to cling to joyful moments, these days.
