Campbell Brown to have show about Iran on CNN tonight
Campbell Brown Reports
'Iran: Fact & Fiction'

An intelligence bombshell about Iran.. and nuclear weapons. But this time, is the intelligence correct? Campbell Brown investigates: "Iran: Fact & Fiction."

Sat & Sun, 7 & 11 p.m. ET

http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/

For those of you who don't know, Campbell Brown is the wife of Dan Senor, former senior advisor to George Bush and Paul Bremer. Look for this program to be from the neocons point of view.

2. Is this the one they said they cancelled?
Just re-tooled so Mrs. Senor can tell scary stories on the teevee?

7. I heard that the one that was canceled was:
Iran: "We were warned"

It was a different show from this one.
As soon as the NIE came out it was scrubbed.

I guess the entire show was based on the premise that Iran had WMD and they were all pointed at us.

Yeah, I guess the facts that they had were not exactly factual.

So, they rushed this one together to make their own facts up.

From a post on this DU: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=2429861&mesg_id=2429883

"That special was "based on a different set of rules and a different set of conditions," said CNN veep-senior exec producer Mark Nelson, noting that the surprising NIE report "changed everything."

In its place, CNN will this weekend air two Campbell Brown-hosted specials on the Iran situation and its history. Portions of "We Were Warned" correspondent Frank Sesno's original reporting will be incorporated into those hours, which air Saturday and Sunday.

Among those participating in the war-game panel featured as part of "Iran Goes Nuclear" were former CIA director Jim Woolsey, former EPA administrator Christie Todd Whitman and former presidential adviser David Gergen."

9. No absolutely not. I have always said Bush didn't need the CIA. He needed CNN.
They were my main news source in the run up to Iraq and I was able to corrcetly discern that Iraq didn't have the WMD's. If anything they were Bush antagonists. They would show Bush saying that Saddam will not allow the weapons inspectors into Iraq. Then the next story was Hans Blixx live in Iraq. CNN's claim is fair and ballanced. That means they have to give air time to the other side to be fair. Then they ballance it out by exposing all their lies. You have to think of it as giving them the rope to hang themselves with.
