the destroyed tapes flap? There will be a lot of bloviating, jumping up and down and arm waving by both parties, calls for investigations, finger pointing and speeches in the House and Senate. A bit of ink wasted on newsrolls but in the end, nothing will come of it anymore than has come of all the rest of the criminality. Next week it will have dropped from the news, period. Same old, same old.

4. The only thing that might change my

original scenario is if the destroyed tapes info was put out there by the WH to counter the release of the NIE and take the NIE off the front pages, then woe be to the WH. No one screws with the CIA and gets away with it. If this scenario is correct, expect to see damning info start coming to the news within the week..the CIA knows where the "bodies" are buried. The politicos will be overloaded with bloviating material.

5. Probably the best to hope for is the perception

of criminality of the regime to increase. I've pretty much given up on any real action. However, one never really knows when the drip, drip, will cause the dam to burst.
