One other result of the USA engaging in torture
Any enemy will be far more reluctant to allow themselves to be captured. They will kill as many as possible including themselves if they believe they will not be treated humanely. Our soldiers will suffer many more deaths and injuries because of this. During the first Gulf War under GHW Bush enemy soldiers surrendered in droves because they knew they would not be mistreated. America had very few casualties in that war. America's enemies no longer believe they will be treated humanely so will fight to the death more often. The Bush* Cabal and the GOP have by this behavior caused more Americans to die now and in the future...

We need to show the rest of the world we are capable of cleaning up our own mess.
