Iowa County Chair For Clinton Resigns After Sending Out E-Mail Claiming Obama is A Muslim
The Clinton campaign is out of control. She can't keep these crazed attack dogs like Mark Penn, Howard Wolfson and now this Judy Rose on a leash.

The Clinton campaign is planting questions, rigging the Las Vegas debate and booing Edwards and Obama while cheering Hillary, making up "jokes" about Obama writing an essay in Kindergarten saying he wanted to be President, and Hillary herself said of mud-slinging before the caucus date: "Now is when the fun part starts".

On Wednesday, a Dodd supporter found this email in her inbox, which has now been traced back to Clinton County Chair Judy Rose in Jones County, Iowa. The e-mail is one that circulated in 2006, long ago debunked:

THE ENEMY WITHIN!

This is the "dude" that some people want to be the next President of the United States

Scary isn't it???????

Speaking bluntly, in a real presidential election, no one in their right mind would vote for Obama. That would be like voting for the guy who just moved in down the street from you, that you wave to from time to time but don't know a thing about. That's Obama. He's been a US Senator for about 100 days, give or take a week. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a radical Muslim while admitting that he was once a Muslim, mitigating that damning information by saying that, for two years, he also attended a Catholic school.

Obama's father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was a radical Muslim who migrated from Kenya to Jakarta, Indonesia. He met Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Obama, Sr. and Dunham divorced when Barack, Jr. was two. Obama's spinmeisters are now attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came from his father and that influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya immediately following the divorce and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Dunham married another Muslim, Lolo Soetoro who educated his stepson as a good Muslim by enrolling him in one of Jakarta's Wahabbi schools. Wahabbism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad on the industrialized world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama joined the United Church of Christ to help purge any notion that he is still a Muslim, which, ideologically, he remains today.

Here is the DailyKos blogger who complained:

Over the past week or so, I have received two of the most hateful hit pieces on Obama parroting right wing talking points," the person posted on Daily Kos yesterday afternoon.

"One was forwarded to me from a Clinton county chair. The other was from a person who claimed to be a former Obama supporter, but a little work with Google revealed she had been posting pro-Clinton comments for several months on websites covering the campaign. They both repeat the Obama/Osama crap, and the "madrassa" charges. And there is the conclusion that Obama is a mole whose intention is to make a Muslim revolution in the US. I have replied with factual citations and a suggestion that those people are doing their candidate no good by spreading the hate."

The email itself starts out this way:

THIS DEFINITELY WARRANTS LOOKING INTO. THIS COUNTRY WAS
FOUNDED, 'ONE NATION UNDER GOD'. ALMIGHTY GOD, NOT THE GOD OF THE
KORAN.

Of course Snopes actually debunks it all. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp

The Clinton campaign said they did not authorize the e-mail and quickly asked Judy Rose to resign, but the point here is what kind of culture does the Hillary Clinton campaign have that they would even get close to sending out an old debunked e-mail like that?? Judy Rose herself says she was just sending it as an example of the hate and rumors that are out there. Yea - just like the Washington Post did with their Front Page story that simply repeated the smear and never told that CNN had sent a reporter to debunk the radical madrassa story 11 months ago!

David Corn in the Nation just wrote a report that the Clinton campaign is obsessed with and now hate Obama. If this is the campaign, how would Wolfson act as White House Chief of Staff??

Obama replied:

Obama's advisers said they accept the Clinton campaign's word that they did not authorize the e-mail. Obama told the Waterloo Courier in an interview that Iowa caucus-goers are focused on issues. "If other folks want to engage in those kinds of small-time tactics then that's their prerogative, but that's not what we're going to focus on," Obama said, according to a transcript provided by his campaign.

I just hope this is the end of it. Hillary Clinton should have her staff be thinking of what plans she would advocate to deal with the issues, such as the home mortgage plan she just put forth. That's how she can win. Not through jokes about kindergarten and by planting questions and rigging debate audiences.

That's what Clinton aides want to be lecturing caucus Democrats?

The creepy thing is these divide and rule tactics always get
exploited by people who don't believe in them personally.
