Should The Next Administration Pursue Prosecutions Within The Current Administration
No poll, what do you think? Should the next administration (presumably Democratic) pursue wrongdoers (if Bush can make up words so can I) from this administration who have broken the law? If so how far should it go? Should there be delayed impeachment proceedings to reveal the full extent of the lawlessness of the current Administrating?

As a second question, do you honestly think that any of the criminals in the current administration will ever spend a day in jail?

Third question: America, spineless or not?

1. No question about it. The lag time in the prosecutions shouldn't
stop them outright. The past is prologue after all.

2. No on the first 2 and yes on the last. I don't have faith in either the next administration, current
congress or a future one. I know we don't have enough knowledge in this country to know we need to take to the streets and be arrested to protest these crimes. As a nation that is.

4. If laws were broken, hell yes.
and I'm willing to bet that the list of laws they didn't break is shorter than the other list.

I think this is the thing to do rather than impeachment now. Only problem is there will be pardons across the board for everyone in January 09. But the good thing is that the International Criminal Court doesn't recognize US pardons for war criminals.

9. 1. The crimes of this regime should be prosecuted to the fullest extent
of national AND international law.
Impeachment hearings will be moot, however, high crimes and misdemeanors were committed against this country. Think RICO. Hopefully we will still be able to recover money.
IMHO, it is the quickest way to regain some of our moral standing that we have lost.
As far as healing the country, you can't let a deep infected wound merely scab over...you have to scrub that sucker out and ONLY let it start healing when all the badly infected crap is completely gone.
2. It depends who wins the Presidency. A Clinton Presidency would likely generate the same political cover that Bill Clinton gave to the Iran Contra folks. IMHO, this is a question that the candidates should be asked and required to answer.
3. Yes.

10. Should for sure..
At this point, I would prefer that an international court bring charges, as I do not trust any part of the United States government.
If history is any indicator than no one will spend a day in jail.
America is not spineless..it is an oligarchy.
