Once upon a Time, the Fundies HATED Christmas.
The Puritans banned it outright. The South didn't start celebrating it until the 1830's and everyone else pretty much ignored it. As late as 1931, nine states still had school classes.

And it started out as a Pagan Holiday anyway...

5. Very Interesting
I am for one am curious about all these Christian groups mad at stores not paying proper due to Christmas. Why in the world would they expect to get proper tribute to the birth of their savior from a business? The businesses' primary motive is profit. So "Happy Holidays" is not about being "politically correct" it's about broadening their market. Really, if you want to talk about a war on Christmas, all this commercialization is the main weapon.

Sometime, I would love to ask one of these people decrying the war on Christmas what their plans are, how much time and money they are spending on decorating the home and buying gifts vs. praying.

I would ask them if they plan on watching football, or at the very least why they aren't outraged that sporting events are scheduled on Christmas, taking athletes away from their churches and families on this most holy day.

I would like to remind them that Christmas is the only national holiday that is religious in nature (unless you count Thanksgiving, which I see as secular despite its roots). So, how can there be a war on Christmas?

8. Quite so!
When people talk about 'PC people@ trying to 'ban Christmas' in supposed deference to non-Christians, I point out that the only time Christmas actually was banned here was under Oliver Cromwell and the Puritans.

10. As always
the Fundies do as they're told, regardless of the facts and history.

They should rename such "deeply religious people" as "stupid cheerleaders and rioters."

11. The only two things you can expect consistently from the RRRW:
Hypocrisy and gratuitious hand-wringing.
