This country has gone nuts
Airplanes nearly colliding in mid air . Shootings in Malls . Semi trucks flipping everyday . Bombs on sidewalks . No damn jobs and fake great economy reports . Cars leaving the road and ending up in homes .

Everything seems to be coming apart at a rapid pace in this slow motion surreal nightmare we are stuck in .

Is it the endless pressure many feel that finally gets to some people causing them to come apart ? I know regulations have alot to do with some of this .

3. No doubt about it. But it's still the best country on the planet.
If it wasn't, I wouldn't be here.

9. Yeah, the Nordic countries are nice, but they are far too cold and small for me.
Although most of them are well managed countries, that task is not so difficult with small, monolithic populations.

Still, they do offer a hight quality of life and are nice places to visit. But I would be bored to death if I lived had to live there. The US is much more exciting.

11.  I think so too
Even well before there was this insane 24/7 flying graphic news which by the way I don't indulge in at all , I never heard of so many insane actions in this country .

Going back a bit we had a few serial killers which was bad enough but we didn't have planes almost crashing on runways or like the other day a tanker truck crashing and spilling gasoline and buring something like 40 cars and a few homes or some guy gone crazy shooting 13 people in a mall or these school shootings .

I recall when the term going postal was restricted to postal workers now it defines many things and we never really get the truth , even if we did what would we do with it ?

I can't even remember when 24/7 news came along , I do recall being pissed off when they brought about the mid-day news and then it just expanded from there to reality shows when they are not reality at least in my world , they are freak shows .

With people losing jobs and homes and health insurance there is enough tension here for the country to go mad and act out of shear rage .

7. The 24/7 news coverage of every tragic event amplifies things
for us on a personal level.

Things we would've previously digested with the next day's newspaper article are SCREAMED at us from several channels LIVE on tv now.

8. They cannot handle reality confronting their fictitious world
And Bush being their union delegate as Moron In Chief

The USA has got to be the dumbest country on the face of the planet, until we provide better leadership from the top.
