In light of the NIE concerning Iran's "nonexistent" Nukular program....Will the US attack Iran?

Up until the last few weeks I felt that eventually the US would drop bombs on Iran, but the NIE seems to have taken the steam out of that ridiculous notion.

Although there is still the possibility Israel would take the lead on this, I think this is only a remote possibility.

Only another terrorist attack on the US or a flaring up of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah could create the justification for any bombing of Iran.

...is an absolute cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy, so I think there will be continued saber rattling and ultimately, military action against Iran, no matter what. Remember, Iraq also complied with international mandates to dismantle its WMD program in the early 1990's with full knowledge of UNSCOM and U.S. intelligence agencies, yet Bush invaded them regardless. So his lies about Iran's nuclear ambitions are beginning to tarnish. He'll just make some other shit up, or easier still, simply continue to harp on the "threat from Iran" and let the media polish that turd for him until he gets what he wants.
