he was SOOOO medicated during that press conference it wasn't funny. i'm reminded of an instance during grade school in which some kid had hit some other kid during recess in plain sight of the teacher and a whole bunch of other kids. upon being confronted with his behaviour he simply kept saying, 'i didn't do nuttin'!' over and over again, no matter what was being said to him. 'billy, why did you hit johnny?' 'i didn't do nuttin'!' 'billy, i saw you hit johnny.' 'i didn't do nuttin'!' 'billy, here's a video of you hitting johnny.' 'i didn't do nuttin'!' etc...

its exactly that same attitude bush presents when caught lying. 'mr. president, the NIE shows...' 'iran is dangerous!' 'mr. president, why did you sit on this information while talking about wwiii?' 'i only heard about it a week ago. oh, and iran is dangerous!'

this guy is not going to ever learn from his mistakes even though his credibility is gone and his presidency has devolved into a lame duck, and though his own party is quietly doing their best to distance themselves from him he is still surrounded by a small and loyal group of handlers who keep him medicated enough to more or less control while they pursue their sinister aims, cheney most of all.

i think its clear that the 'intelligence community' has finally had enough of his crap and were probably thrilled to finally have an opportunity to expose him for the lying liar that he is.
