Bush Calls on Iran to 'Come Clean'
He's freaking nuts. As if more proof is needed....

By BEN FELLER – 35 minutes ago

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — President Bush, trying to keep pressure on Iran, called on Tehran Wednesday to "come clean" about the scope of its nuclear activities or else face diplomatic isolation.

Two days after a new intelligence report said that Iran had halted its nuclear weapons program four years ago, Bush demanded that Tehran detail its previous program to develop nuclear weapons "which the Iranian regime has yet to acknowledge."

"The Iranians have a strategic choice to make," he said. "They can come clean with the international community about the scope of their nuclear activities, and fully accept the long-standing offer to suspend their enrichment program and come to the table and negotiate, or they can continue on a path of isolation."

The administration is worried that the new National Intelligence Estimate — representing a consensus of all U.S. spy agencies — weakens its leverage over Iran and its ability to build global pressure on Tehran to stop its uranium enrichment program.

1. There is no more candy in the candy jar George
You are not going to be able to bomb Iran. No shut up and go sit in the corner for a year.

3. Kind of a catch 22
Iran says they aren't trying to build nuclear weapons and they aren't coming clean. They admit they are trying to build nuclear weapons and Bush invades.

11. He did the same thing with Iraq even after Hans Blix
and Scoot Ritter said Iraq had no WMDs he said Iraq had to come clean or we would disarm them. We have to bomb Iran now since someone may have the knowledge to build a nuke someday. The guy is totally insane and why don't the Democrats have the balls to come out and tell it like it is. I think most people would respect them if they did.

4. If he says it enough, it will become truth
Unfortunately, we have seen this happen before.
Rush, O'Reilley, Beck, Coulter, et all will start repeating it over and over to their minions until it becomes the new truth.
It's fucking scary as hell these days.

I feel like I'm living in some sort of bizarro world. When will somebody call on him to resign and check himself into the nearest mental health facility?

13. Good question...
it would help if the press would be as interested in Bush's mental faculties as they were Clinton's sexual ones.

15. What if the Democrats in Congress would make
a resolution requesting that he be examined. I would think there would be some kind of a process where a President could be removed from office if he were insane. This would certainly be time to find out.

17. I'm not sure how it goes about but I do know that a person can be compelled for
psychiatric evaluation. I know someone who was even jailed several days until they could be transported who's only crime was to have 3 people go to a judge and basically ask for it. Like I said I don't remember the particulars its been too many years ago but I remember the incidence real well

anyways all I'm saying is there is a way of doing that.
