Today's sickening headline: Chuck Norris is a Powerful Man
Chuck Norris is a certified Web sensation. Widely circulated facts about his accomplishments, strength, and energy have elevated him to a level of popularity seldom seen by actors pushing 70. But can Norris's fabled powers impact the leader of the free world?

The actor who kicked copious butt on "Walker, Texas Ranger" is now attempting to bench press a presidential candidate from obscurity to front-runner with his endorsement of Mike Huckabee. Searches on Norris are up 10% over the past week, but more importantly, lookups on "mike huckabee chuck norris" are up a whopping 457%.

1. It's a funny commercial. Only problem is, Huckabee is a very jocular and personable nutcase! NT

8. They aren't making shit up. They are just reciting from scripts
that somebody else made up.

People Against Hollywood Getting Involved in Politics

To: Mike Farrell and Anjelica Huston
We the average (non know it all self righteous) people of the United States of America ask that those movie stars and has-been movie stars alike that fancy themselves as political activist please cease and desist your anti-war efforts immediately. We ask that you stop driving a wedge into the unity of the American people. Please stop imposing your views on us. Your celebrity status doesn’t make you experts in the ways of politics. In particular, we ask that the following people go back to entertaining and leave the politics to those that are in office.

• Mike Farrell
• Anjelica Huston
• Kim Basinger
• Matt Damon
• Laurence Fishburne
• Ethan Hawke
• Uma Thurman
• Jessica Lange
• Samuel L. Jackson
• Martin Sheen
• Tim Robbins
• Susan Sarandon
• Barbra Streisand

After 9/11 Many of the people mentioned above spoke out against the war against the Taliban and Al Queda. They naively wished for peace while a nation of people determined to wipe out our way of life continued to train and to develop the ways and means to destroy us all. This is the same government that would never allow these liberal Hollywood types to live the lifestyles that they have chosen for themselves. Ironically, many of these same actor/armchair politicians were very critical of the US Government’s efforts to protect the American People before 9/11. They complained because they thought not enough was done. When the US Government took a more proactive stance in the post 9/11 world, they still complained. What would they have us do?

10. Gee when William Hung was booted off American Idol
he was a "sensation" also. Seems the American people go zany over anybody. But I liked William Hung better than I liked Chuck Norris.

13. Hucky's campaign is like a circus--all jokes and wacky characters.
I can't believe we've sunk this low as a country, that in one of the most serious, crucial elections in our history, some people are falling for the idiot-clown.
