Isn't anyone going to put two and two together about Iran?
Look, I'll freely admit I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I've been listening to our narcissistic bullshit artist try to squirm out of the declassified National Intelligence Estimate.

Oops. Turns out Iran shut down its nuclear weapons program when they said they did, in 2003.

But in the intervening four years the Bush Administration has been able to pound the table, trying time after time to foist another bullshit war on us.

Now, how did they get away with that?

Well, every goddamned informed citizen should know by heart how they got away with it. Within days of outing CIA agent and WMD expert Valerie Plame, Robert Novak returned for seconds and revealed the name of the front company Wilson was operating under: Brewster Jennings.

It would appear as if Brewster Jennings was covering the more than just a single covert CIA operative. It was used by other CIA officers as well.

Like, maybe the CIA's weapons of mass destruction team, just maybe?

I think that what today's news means is that four years after burning their own CIA team, the United States has finally rebuilt the WMD team that was rolled up by Cheney, Rove, Libby, and Novak, and now they finally have a fucking clue.

In those four years, these assholes have thumped us over the head with the threat of terra, terra, terra. Now I think we were bare-ass naked and had no idea what was going on. But it got the most criminal President in our nation's history re-elected, and damaged my country beyond repair.

Fuck you, Bush Administration. May you taste a tenth part of the suffering you have wrought.

2. K&R...
the fact that Iran rolled out a completely new home-built rocket system when our intelligence agencies were only expecting a modification of a Korean system in Iran's arsenal gives one cause for pause...

Epistemology...how do we "know" what we "know"...
