1. Uh... so what? Reagan liked puppies too, does that mean we should hate them? nt

2. Twisted logic
The forces that are against Chavez are right-wing reactionary elements both in the US and in Venezuela.

It's always good to know who you are in bed with.

3. I am in bed with the people of Venezuela who just voted against this.
If they would have voted for it, that would have been fine with me too.

5. Yeah you are probably right
I'm not sure what that proves though. Unless you are just painting those who disagree with your assessment of Hugo Chavez with a broad brush.

6. Yeah, but Reagan never met a fascist dictator he didn't like.

He should have been impeached over Iran/Contra; but his brain was too far gone by the time his criminal activities were exposed.

7. I don't care
I see nothing in Chavez that makes me think any more or less of him than any other windbaggish Latin American leader.

They're a dime a dozen. He may be great for Venezuela. He doesn't help me at all.

8. I opposed what he was doing
Just as much as I would oppose a repeal of the 22nd amendment, only dictaors want to keep power indefinately.

Vivia Chavez! As long as he is no longer president in 2013.
