McCain is so obviously--so unquestionably--the best candidate the Republicans have. How can this many of my fellow Americans be this retarded? It's like that time when Madonna and Cyndi Lauper were both hitting it big in the early 80s and I was all like, Cyndi is so engaging, so interesting. Sure she's a little annoying some times, but Madonna is so damned blatent, so kitschy-stupid, so banal. How can anyone in their right mind prefer Madonna over Cyndi Lauper?

And yes, John McCain is just like Cyndi Lauper. But not nearly as much as Mitt Romney is the Republican Madonna.

saying that he'll do away with that pesky death tax and that capital gains taxes will be a thing of the past.

4. Always be grateful McCain is not going to be the nominee--he's still

polling the best against our candidates. GOPers don't like him or trust him. They want purity and loyalty above all else. McCain thinks the "surge" will help him, but ALL of the GOPer candidates (save Paul) supported it--so it's a wash for him. Ultimately, he has not been able to shed his image as Republican back-stabber, and that's good for us.

5. At the moment, Romney seems to be the one to watch. I only saw a snip of the

R debate and it showed Romney's NON answer about torture. If that was any indication of how he handles other questions, I'm truly at a loss as to his surge in the polls. :shrug:
