I have a question, especially for right wingers

Can you name a single thing the Bush* Administration did in their first nine months to combat terrorism? Ashcroft submitted his first budget for the Justice Dept on Sept 10th and it had all funding to combat terrorism cut from it..Cheney was made head of the anti terror element in the Administration and held zero meetings on the subject. So what exactly did they do? The Hart-Rudman report lay unread on the President's desk..9-11 could have been prevented...

Honestly, the ones I talk to, when it comes to this question, really refuse to recognize the time period between Jan. 20, 2001 and Sept. 11, 2001. It simply did not exist, or Clinton was still President, or something. Reality is not a strong suit with right wingers.

First off, I'm the FORMER Rush Fan. Jesus Christ, I'm so fucking tired of people reading my messages which deliver the right wing spin when it's ASKED FOR or relevant, and then jumping all over me labeling me as some kind of spy for the right wing. If I WERE a spy, I wouldn't have chosen my handle.

The key to finding the answer to your OP is understand that they would NEVER DIRECTLY answer your question.

To the right wing, EVERYTHING is a FRAME based upon LIES. I know this has been beaten to death, but it's true, and this is a very good example of how your excellent question can be turned around.

Again, this isn't ME answering, but how your right wing commentators would reply...

I won't even bother countering the BS in the "answer" above, but again, they don't THINK the way we do for a very simple reason (and I know I'm a broken record on this as well):

"Conservatism" is a LIE. Everything is a lie in order to support one, main, goal: increasing and preserving the wealth and income of the rich. Everything else is there to support that goal, they don't care about anything else to the point of sacrificing the primary goal. EVERYTHING they do is to help lower taxes for the rich and/or preserve their wealth. When you understand this, so many other things become so obvious, as in, everything they say is a lie, and don't expect otherwise.
