How to argue like a Republican (Hannity version)
1. Misrepresent someone's statement

2. Force the opposition to defend a position they never espoused

It really is that simple. (Sadly, the American people are ALSO really that simple. It fucking works.)

5. when I was at a college job fixing the staffs' computers
there was one guy always listening to Oreally on his little radio, and he was one of the most aloof, arrogant pricks on campus. I don't think he actually did anything, either

8. What do you call the person that graduated at the bottom of his class in medical school?
"Doctor"

Individuals are smart but the American people, as a group, are woefully ignorant and under informed. There is a difference between ignorant and stupid, however. Ignorance is curable with education. As comedian Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid".

6. Attack the opposition person personally.
Don't address the issue, talk about the person's affiliations that have NOTHING to do with the topic at hand...
Or attack their position based on other's who share their view who are known to be hated by your fan base...
Or attach their position to other, far more radical positions held by others in their party or group...

Never argue the issue at hand. They might have a point. Or something.

9. Talk over them
or rather shout over them. Don't let them be heard. That would be dangerous.
