One the one hand, the story has sex in it, and that tends to keep the fire burning. The media loves scandals that have a sexual dimension to it.

On the other hand, for 7 years we've all seen here how many supposedly destructive stories about BushCo have run their course after a week or two, before sinking into the internet archives.
