Republicans: "I will not raise taxes no matter if...."
No matter if a meteorite hits the nation's Capitol. No matter if California falls into the sea. No matter if an epidemic kills all the children in the country. I will not raise your taxes.

No matter if the debt goes to $50 trillion dollars, I will not raise your taxes. No matter if we have to fight a war against the entire world. No matter if Grover Norquist drowns in a bathtub, I will not raise your taxes. There is no issue in the world as important as keeping your taxes low. That is my pledge as a Republican.

3. The only people who really truly benefit by tax cuts are the rich
and the super rich. Most of the middle class pay minimal amount of taxes now and a tax cut would not effect them.

4. Have you seen the movie "Kismet"? A bunch of beggars are in the town market
and they are begging for change. If a person does not give them money, they put a curse on them. The main character asks a man for change and he says, "No -- I'm a businessman. I don't give money to beggars." The beggar curses the man a couple of times with no response and then says,

"May your taxes be raised!"

The businessman immediately pulls money out of his pocket and gives it to the beggar. The other beggars see what has happened and this becomes the new "curse" as the businessmen would certainly rather pay the beggars than have their taxes increased.

To me, that is a perfect example of what the rethuglicans are all about. They would sell their souls rather than have their taxes go up.

7. That's funny
I always love that the middle class person that crys about Taxes is the same person that gives money hand over foot to Pat Robertson and Jerry Farwell. Yeah great economic choice.
