3. Agreed. Huge night for our side.
What a frightening, repellent group of people the GOP is tossing at the electorate this time.

6. Huckabee would defeat Hillary handily
Obama would be the best to oppose him in my view, would neutralize his manner.

15. famous last words. I agree with the others he's the Republican to watch
and could be potentially dangerous. He would unite the evangelic voters and still comes off as sane enough to attract moderate republicans.

16. They're just desperate
Horrified at what they've got to choose from and looking for anybdy to believe in. When they take a closer look at Huckabee, they'll be horrified by him too. He'll never get any press either. It's not 1976, he's not going to be able to pull off a Jimmy Carter.

5. Let's see, Mitt fumbles and stumbles, shoots own foot.
Rudy rambles around but gets no traction. 911 ain't helpin' him with his baggage problem.
Good 'Ol Fred is still breathing, so for him it's a 'win'.
Ron Paul made a few hits, and just as many misses. Still loony.
McCain was useful in squashing Mitt, but gains nothing.
Tancredo needs to go home. Now.
Huckabee is the big winner, but still far behind. Still a fundie nut.

12. I wouldn't underestimate the opposition.
Remember 48% of Americans think we're winning in Iraq.

13. always run like your 10 points behind. I never underestimate the other side
but clearly the Democrats won tonight. Republicans offer fuck-o, nothing, no substance on any issues and even with a fascist friendly crowd tonight it still showed they have nothing.
