The lesson of the next decade: Voting is no substitiute for direct action.
Vote all you want, one thing won't change anytime soon: our government is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Business, Inc.

You don't matter.

The rest of the world is starting to learn, as we will ... eventually, that if you want to change things you have to take on the bad actors directly. Forget rapidly clogging governmental channels and prepare to take on the real government, i.e., the corporations.

This glimpse of the future brought to you by Chaska (as yet unincorporated).

Discuss as you so desire.

2. I have been saying this for years. Until the assholes who run the
corporations are made to PERSONALLY suffer consequences for the actions of their companies, they will do nothing to change their behavior. Any parent can tell you that.

Voting is just an expensive waste of time that mirrors an ineffectual parent who says "be quiet" over and over again but NEVER disciplines the child into being quiet.

But Amerika continues to pretend to be "good parents."

3. Yep
But as long as we belong to a political party that sleeps with the corporations we will continue to have to put up with the corporate fascism.

We need a party that denies corporate involvement in our politics. We need to purify our party.
