The poor dears are besides themselves. There's a few threads going on this over there ("down under" in FReeperland), but here's a main one. Not as much comment as when they get going in support of creationism, but still entertaining, and hopefully just a first taste of what we can look forward to from them in November 2008:

Someone correct me, but wasn’t John F’in sKerry female offspring down there working on this for the last couple of years?

Expect a big loud cheer from the head-chopper crowd. That’s the end of Australia.

So much for thinking Australia was a good country with sound principles. People cowered to the liberal and now the world will pay the price. You are correct, this is WWII all over again. God help us if this should happen in the USA.

Yep prepare for the similar result in out 2008 elections...

Unless the Republicans grow a set and start beating the Democrats over the head with thier open borders policy and their defeatists strategy against our most lethal enemies.

10. With the FReepers, it's always deja vu all over again.
They are unbelievably predictable. Often scary (Bush is God for some), but gotta love 'em when they refight the Civil War or start another 1,000-post creationism thread (it was the flood!). I quit smoking years ago, but trolling over at FR remains a bad habit I can't break.

3. The irony of it all?
WHEN the Democrats take the Senate, the House and the Presidency this next election, that place will be busier than ever.

5. Neoconservatism is over. People have seen its results-
which were entirely predictable, but they really needed to see them- and they don't like it. It has badly hurt our world.
