Old Man Thompson Eats Moose Chili at Skip's Gun Shop ---pix--->>>
Edited on Fri Nov-23-07 09:14 PM by Stephanie

Looks like maybe it's dawning on him that he's not in Hollywood any more. Do you think he'd rather be dining at The Ivy? Mmmmm, moose chili!

"I used to have my own skeet shoot," Thompson boasted as he wandered through the gun shop and bought his children gifts. "Some of my opponents, you know, have a bad record or no records. I have a solid record. ... I'm not embarrassed to remind anybody of it."

Um, what gifts did he buy his children at the gun shop?

1. That last picture just begs for a caption.
"Oh my God, what's IN this? Tar?! Why ever did I leave my mansion in Hollywood and my professionally prepared meals?!"

16. At least he remembered his bronzer today.
Without it he looks a little wan.

2. How dare you call him an old man? He can't help when he was
born, he is just a human whose wife and little kids love him. (There are people here who will understand this post.)

3. After taking that tentative bite he got in his pick-up truck and drove around the corner to his limo
where he dined on Chateaubriand and grey poupon in the back seat.

4. YUMMY!
Nothing beats moose chili from a Styrofoam© cup and a plastic spoon surrounded by decapitated heads from cloven-hoofed animals.

That's quite a lively looking bunch of folks ain't they? :)

5. Oh, yeah, he's REALLY enjoying it, too.
I can't think of ANYTHING I'd eat in a gun shop. I get this visual in my mind of "The Gimp" from "Pulp Fiction" and realize those good ol' boys could have stirred just about anything into that pot.

12. M'Kay....He's eating moose in the gun shop because....
...to be served in a restaurant for profit the moose would have to be USDA certified. The hunt ended a few weeks back and there's tons of it being eaten around the state at this time of the year. It shows up a lot at gun shops and also at legion halls and non-profits where it CAN be served and a jar for donations is OK. I myself enjoyed a couple mooseburgers provided by the guy who holds the lease on my business location, and if your chef knows what he (or she) is doing, it is quite a treat.

Edited on Fri Nov-23-07 09:58 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
I wonder how many country gun owners spend their time shooting clay pigeons, shouting "pull" at their servants. Isn't that kind of like a candidate going to cowboy country and saying that he used to enjoy engaging in sports of horse gymnastics like "dressage"?

so why not? Maybe teething bullets for the baby to go with the diaphragm that young miss was chewing on during the Fox "News" interview.
