Pardoned Thanksgiving turkey had to beg: “Please don’t kill me.”
There’s an unverified story that George W. Bush refused to issue the ceremonial pardon to the White House Thanksgiving turkey until it begged for its life. Specifically, he wanted to hear it gobble “Please don’t kill me.”

Those were the words that Bush himself used when, as Governor of Texas, he mocked Carla Faye Tucker who was executed when he refused to commute her death sentence. I can’t vouch for the turkey story, but we know the Carla Faye Tucker story is true.

It kinda’ makes you wonder what he did to quench his blood lust after pardoning the turkey.

4. That's bull. They couldn't teach Bush how to use the taser.

2. First he "cornboarded" it
But that's ok, since it's not torture.

3. "Cornboarding" is legal. It was left out of the Geneva Conventions.

5. he shows compassion for a turkey which was bred for consumption, and will die sooner
than a normal turkey ... and yet mocks a woman who had had enough of her husband's abusiveness which made her fear for her life ...

6. It makes you wonder how this Bush creature ever got to be president.
Yeah, we know he stole it, (both times). Even so, there had to be a hell of a lot of votes to make it close enough for him/them to steal it. We can't let it happen again. No matter who our candidate is, we've got to make the landslide so immense so as to make another Republican theft impossible.
