We had already got everything we needed for the dinner and she cooked and i carved and cleaned up after .

It would have been nice with some friends but all our friends have moved away or become ignorent .

So we thought of JFK and days gone by .

6. I'm glad you guys had a good day. Most of the people I know had pretty
low key celebrations planned. I did laundry and I had the whole laundry room to myself. Laundry's become a Thanksgiving tradition for me.

Most things aren't anylonger . I sort of miss a big table with people but we have not had that in years . I guess Malloy had people over and family .

16.  Yeah , we were kids once
I haven't heard from my sisters , that's all I have left of my family . One thing I always recall as a kid for some reason was waiting for the day when I could sit in a chair and have my feet reach the floor rather than the end of the cushion .

Where do all of those marching bands and dancers and cheerleaders all find hotel rooms? That parade must generate huge business for the city.

30.  Speaking of parades
Next sunday here in hollywood they do the X-mas parade which has really turned to garbage . We get the streets blocked off and all the bands and the people with their horses line up on our street then take off to begin the parade . I have photo's from 2004 right after the elections were stolen from Kerry all stored on my computer .

All I could think of is all the piles of horse shit in the streets and how they reminded me of bush .

37. Our streets are so crowded and they put up barracades when
the tree is up. All the way up to the day after New Years Eve which is also a trip when you go to the city. I did it once and boy did I freeze my butt off, but it was a great experience. I love when the tree goes up, it's beautiful in NY.

There are so many hotels in Manhattan. When the tree goes up in Rockefeller Center you can' t move in Manhattan. I think that time of the year is probably the best for business there.

Kerry Unveils One-Point Plan For Better America
August 11, 2004 | Issue 40•32

WICHITA, KS—Delivering the central speech of his 10-day "Solution For America" bus campaign tour Monday, Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry outlined his one-point plan for a better America: the removal of George W. Bush from the White House.

"If I am elected in November, no inner-city child will have to live in an America where George Bush is president," Kerry said, addressing a packed Maize High School auditorium. "No senior citizen will lie awake at night, worrying about whether George Bush is still the chief executive of this country. And no American—regardless of gender, regardless of class, regardless of race—will be represented by George Bush in the world community."

The Solution For America tour, which began in Boston, will end in Eugene, OR on Aug. 20. During the next week and a half, Kerry and vice-presidential hopeful John Edwards are expected to bring their message of a Bush-free country to several hundred thousand Americans. <snip>

Lots of family BS all week had me in tears but my day was great in spite of her! :D

We, my son and I, had a great dinner (I cooked :P ) and we watched

a silly comedy Xmas movie ('Up On the Roof'?) and 'The Guardian' (which I loved!)

and I still have 'Sicko' to watch in the AM. ;) My sons on his way to Best Buy

to wait outside in hopes of getting a Laptop and a printer bundle for $229.00!

I hope he is successful! His friend is going with him. Two adventurous 19 yr olds! :P

Why was yours quiet? Were you alone? :( . .

.

I'm drinking my dessert right now! :P Are you? Cheers!!

The Republicans are not a political party any more. They have become some sort of strange cult. And the 25 percent or so that still claim loyalty to the Rethugs are totally in Kool-Aid land.

...and it's becoming a four day holiday for a lucky few. What goes around comes around.

:hi:

I forget that not everyone has the 4 day weekend. How about you?

We always have the 2 days at Thanksgiving. I know how lucky i am to have time off and medical benefits. I know that many people don't.

:bounce:

Happy Day!
