Corker ‘underwhelmed’ by Bush’s knowledge of Iraq.
Edited on Thu Nov-22-07 08:53 PM by ProSense

Corker ‘underwhelmed’ by Bush’s knowledge of Iraq.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) “raised some eyebrows” with his recent remarks about President Bush’s knowledge about Iraq. His comments “about his experiences with the White House during meetings on the war in Iraq” left some conservatives in the crowd “befuddled.” Chattanooga’s NewsChannel 9 reports:corker

“I was in the White House a number of times to talk about the issue, and I may rankle some in the room saying this, but I was very underwhelmed with what discussions took place at the White House,” Corker said.

A few minutes later during a question and answer session a man in the audience asked him to clarify his statement.

“I was concerned about your statement that you were underwhelmed with what was going on in the White House. Did you mean with him or with his staff?”

In response, Corker said, “Let me say this. George Bush is a very compassionate person. He’s a very good person. And a lot of people don’t see that in him, and there’s many people in this room who might disagree with that…. I just felt a little bit underwhelmed by our discussions, the complexity of them, the depth of them.”

Breaking: Repub discovers dim bulb in WH.

11. Right! I may now have to admit that Corker has a little more depth than
I gave him credit for. At least he seems to think that *'s thinking is pretty shallow.

7. He did because 93 of TN's 95 counties use paperless DREs to vote.
According to the Election Defense Alliance, Tennessee's Senatorial race showed the highest level of discordance between the exit polls and the "reported" vote. That's how one dim bulb gets to represent the Orange State and meet with the dimmer bulb in the White House. Lordy, I'm sorry Holt didn't pass.

25. Also, because of the influence of the churches in TN.
I have been told "I am a Christian woman so I have to vote Republican" by a co-worker. That statement was met with agreement by the other people in the group.

26. Yes, it is frightening how morally lobotomized some Xtians are these days.
If they would compare Bush's policies to scripture, they would be more likely to conclude (as one Christian friend of mine did) that Bush is the anti-Christ.

People who are told that they must vote Republican to be Christian should find another church (or denomination). Fortunately, they do still have some churches to choose from who understand and respect the need for separation of church and state.

8. "George Bush is a very compassionate person. He’s a very good person.
This Corker must be a moron. Morons elect morons so that they feel compatible with them
Busholini doesn't need to know much. Darth tells him what to do & speeches are written for him. Busholini is a Silver Spoon Sociopathetic Asshole.

When Busholini tries to explain anything he sounds like a fourth grade slow learner. I heard him trying to explain his stupid SS Plan. He attempted three times. It was a mess every time then he quit trying & shrugged his shoulders. The hand picked audience sat there with blank looks. Was there ever a dumber Pres. in US History than Busholini?

18. The praise these scoundrels heap on each other is sickening.
Every time another rat flees the sinking S.S. bush (coughTownsendcough), bush speaks about what heroes they are and they reply by saying bush is George Washington, or Abe Lincoln, or Jesus, or all of them combined.

What makes it so funny (and deeply pathetic) is that they are all a bunch of arrogant, incompetent, lying, out-of-touch fools.

George Washington! Good God.

12. If Dorker is underwhelmed, then it MUST be bad!
Dorker is about as quick-witted as a slug, so this is even more sickening. As I recall, * made a few trips to TN to support Mr. Dorker (Corker) when he was running against Harold Ford, Jr. for the Senate. Apparently Boob (Bob) didn't "pick up" on the lack of intelligence on those trips when he was pandering to the pResident. Both of these dimwits leave a slimy trail wherever they go. Boob Dorker embarrasses me as one of my Senators, but this pREsident IS even worse! :puke:

14. A totally new definition for 'good person'
These nuts just never give up. Now Corker (corkscrew?) is insisting that Bush is a good person. It makes one wonder how the hell their brains work. Bush says Putin is a good person. He says Musharraf is a good person. Tom DeLay, Jesse Helms, Rove, Cheney are all good persons in that crowd. This has got to be an alternate universe thing.

 :silly:
