At the end of a byzantine question on Wednesday night’s program, PBS’ Charlie Rose asks Karl Rove, “what makes you so evil?”

“Well I can’t answer that completely,” Rove replies. “I do have a theory though about the Internet. I think the Internet grants people a pseudo-anonymity that allows them to say things that they would never say to somebody in person and never put in a letter but would feel comfortable saying as accepted political discourse on the Internet, and after awhile it becomes ingrained in accepted practice.”

“It seems to go deeper,” Rose says.

“Beyond me,” Rove replies.

21. I was thinking the same thing...

I really think we need to have a letter writing campaign for Karl Rove. He just got his own column in Newsweek so I plugged my nose and checked the site for his contact information and this is the best I could find, [e-mail] is the e-mail address it gives when you click on the "e-mail the author" link right underneath his picture. Of course when they say it goes to him, but the e-mail address suggests it goes to the webeditors I am skeptical that Rove would even look at any of the messages himself. It doesn't hurt to try though, I will have to write tomorrow when I have more time.
