Schwarzenegger Labeled One of "America's Best Leaders"

Gov. Schwarzenegger is featured on the cover of the new U.S. News and World Report magazine, which praises the former actor as one of "America's Best Leaders."

The November 19 issue features 18 of "America's Best Leaders," but chose the actor-turned- politician to grace the cover.

The magazine teamed up with the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government to help select the honorees. They define great leaders as someone who "motivates people to work collaboratively to accomplish great things."

The magazine article featured a diverse group of leaders, from Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to William Foege, an epidemiologist who has dedicated his career to eradicating disease.

3. As a lifelong Californian, I must say ....

I always tell my husband, "At least he's influenced by Maria and her cousin, Bobby Kennedy Jr. At least he's not a total tool, like my esteemed rep, Darrell Issa."

11. AND ...
I saw him at the Chargers' game after the Fires. At least HE knows how to dress (cool Cal casual) AND he knows how to speak to people and charm them (unlike the COMPLETE DOLT).

6. Even though I LOATHE the man's face and demeanor and acting
and party affiliation, I think maybe his wifey and the kids have been screaming at him 24/7 about the environment and he has decided to go along to get along. So he gets a score of 5 on a scale out of 10 from me so far.

We'll have to have Maria work him over good about that ... (verbally, of course, Agent Mike)(we'll send her polite letters requesting that she persuade about the validity of the bill).
