Why won't they Impeach?
Because they have time to talk to us when we call. Because they aren't getting 1000's of calls, faxes, and protests in the street demanding it.

WE must make them so uncomfortable with their silence that they have no choice. We are the leaders. They are the followers.

So please join me in getting everyone to call for impeachment. Please go to your local media, your schools, your community center and have impeachment rallies. We can not sit by watching the politicians play politics by not impeaching.

What Bush and Cheney have done is betrayal and the silence of the media is betrayal too.

Plese join me in getting 1000's of calls and people in the streets.

1. You have strategists thinking tactics
They think, with some reason, it's best for 2008 to have these guys in the White House.

There are not 67 Senators willing to convict - even if they caught the Chimp and/or Crashcart molesting children.

I think the strategists also believe, with some reason, impeachment will gain sympathy for the Chimp

Now, whether you think strategists should be in charge of the party is another thing altogether.

6. Yes but they know that the Party will put them on the ballot and you'll vote for them
over a republican.

4. Send all your $$$ to Dennis Kucinich.
He's the only Democrat running with enough cojones to send an impeachment bill to the floor...

5. I appreciate your enthusiasm but we have done that to no avail.
Impeachment is off the table. Read Nancy's lips. They seem to have a reason that they won't share but I can't see them changing their minds. Direct contact by constituents has a very limited effect. They know, as incumbents, that the Democratic Party will always back them (an incumbent) and not help challengers for the primary nominations. Once on the ballot they know we will vote for them over a republican.

Continue to email and call, I will, but understand the limitations. Become involved in the local and state Democratic Party.

7. the democrats won't impeach
because they feel they have 2008 in the bag, and don't want to step out and do anything that can risk that. They're cowards convincing themself winning in 2008 is more important than defending the constitution.
