WH to congress: "It is not us who is making any civilians suffer"

http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2007/11/white_house_warns_of_xmas_mili.html

<snip>

The House has voted to tie $50 billion in continued funding to a timeline for troop withdrawals, but that measure has been shelved in the Senate. The White House is calling on Congress to approve a spending bill before year’s end. If funding isn’t provided, the Defense Department says, the stall will have a “profoundly’’ burdensome impact on its operations.

“Before you furlough anyone, you have to provide notice,’’ White House Press Secretary Dana Perino said this morning. “If Congress provides the full funding, then the Department of Defense will not have to take the step’’ of furlough notices. They will have to be issued in mid-December, she said.

Perino also acknowledges that this was a warning shot across the bow of Congress – “that’s exactly what that was.’’

“It is not us who is making any civilians suffer,’’ she said. “We are calling on Congress.’’

are we all right now, along with the Iraqi people, different tactics but destroying peoples lives.

remember this comment made by dimwit.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

3. This is all for a war BASED ON LIES.
There were no WMDs.

There was no threat.

Let's go to ground zero here for the real reasons this conflict - this war - is even being discussed. And that reason lies with the fact that this administration lied to start the war. LIED to Congress, LIED to the American people, LIED about everything.

You can't get more clear than that. The war is a lie. Put an end to it. Anything less is unacceptable.

4. Ever wonder what it must feel like for these hell-bound War Pigs...
...who routinely make choices that result in mass murder of hundreds of thousands, millions, scores of suffering and misery...all that negativity on the planet? Be it god, cosmos or karma, I hope eternity beats their asses severely as they constantly see and hear the anguish of those they carelessly created during their fucked earthly existence.
