"While porn mogul Larry Flynt says he's still about to blow the lid off a couple of more sex scandals involving Republicans, he's lining up behind his horse in the Democratic field," the Examiner reports.

"Flynt was one of the co-hosts of a fundraiser for liberal candidate Dennis Kucinich at the headquarters of his company, Hustler-LFP, in Los Angeles."

Said Flynt: "I support Dennis Kucinich because not only have I been a friend of his for 40 years, but I believe he offers an essential, viable and exciting option to the candidates that are more popular at the moment."

America flocking to Kucinich. While Flynt is not a bad person, his reputation far precedes him, and it's not good.

While some of middle America may not enjoy what Flynt sells, in no way does that dilute the huge number who remember and VALUE Flynt's contribution to our right to freedom of expression.

I would've thought he'd be a Ron Paul supporter for sure. His magazines are full of racially offensive cartoons. As well as other offensive cartoons and general outlook.

As a Kucinich suppoter I have to wonder whether his support is actually useful. Then again Flynt has certainly been a more feisty fighter of fanatical conservatism than most of the fairweather liberals I know.

I suspect Flynt's support might be tied to Kucinich's support for impeachment. Of course this is a reason I think that we should all be supporting Kucinich in this matter, REGARDLESS of whether you support Kucinich for president.

That's right, you DON'T HAVE to support Kucinich for president, but at least support his efforts to impeach Cheney and Bush! Don't begrudge the impeachment movement (which enjoys broad support throughout America) because you don't want to improve his position amongst the Democratic candidates. Instead push your candidate to speak out in favor of it.
