VA coverage info sought -
do they cover cataract surgery? i was only in for 4 years.

for sure, I would think that if your entitled for care you would be, you might find out here. http://www.va.gov/ BTW if your not already signed up for health care you can get the forms and instructions at this link also.

2. you need to go to your local veteran's office (likely countly level)

and get a card if you haven't done so already. At that time they will have you fill out financial questionaires to determine eligiblity. If you were in during a war, even if you didn't go to the front, you get more than if you were in during peace time. Hope this helps a little.

On edit If they cover you at all they will cover cataracts.

4. Medicare covers that. And no charge to you...
They also give you a perscription and you can get glasses, if you want, for reading.
