11. The White House claims Executive Privilege on that question
and the turkey does not have to testify on the issue of pardons due to National Security concerns.

13. Word is that this year the turkeys have decided not to
pardon Bush for high crimes, treason, misdeamors, criminality, war crimes, lying to Congress, other lies, doublespeak, Bushspeak, clusterfucks, cronyism, nepotism, and a host of other things.

15. Critics Call Presidential Pardon "Soft on Turkeys"
WASHINGTON, D.C.- In keeping with a long-standing Thanksgiving tradition, President George W. Bush pardoned Stars, a 15 pound turkey from Southern Missouri. However, several conservative lawmakers openly criticized Bush for a law enforcement policy they claimed was "soft on turkeys." They asked how, in the middle of a war on terror, the President could offer a blanket pardon to an enormous carnivorous bird without consulting the attorney general or even running a background check.

18. Rather than pardoning the turkey this year
he is going to waterboard it to see if he can get any terrorist intelligence out of it.

"But, ya see, Ah have to...can't you hear that tickin' tahm bomb...Ah gotta act FAST..."

"Um, Mr. President, that's not a ticking bomb, it's an oven timer."

20. He pardoned the turkey, saying, "It's going to come live with us."
The turkey responded by saying, "Anyone want a drum stick? Please, kill me!"
