At least that is getting to where people will buy it. But I wonder if it isn't just because they know they can charge that much more for it.
Make a few, charge high prices and make two claims, Yea we offer a hybrid, but we can't make enough of them.

Chrysler is putting a hybrid in the Dodge Durango and Chrysle Aspen SUV's starting early 08. It brings the SUV fuel milage up to 27 28 highway which is another thing they are all trying to do.

2. Wish my Dodge Dakota was getting 21mpg city instead of the average 16mpg
Its a step in the right direction, but they need to implement this system into their cars NOW!!

What were doing the last several years since Toyota and Honda already had hybrids? Just like GM too little too late. Why is this only on their big SUVs? Will there even be a market with ever increasing oil prices?
