Kucinich - elimination by omission
Edited on Sat Nov-17-07 08:13 PM by Dover
Just watched the local evening news, and they covered some candidate support gatherings (Obama mainly) and then put a poll up showing where candidates stood. Among the Dems they didn't even list Kucinich...I kid you not! It's like he doesn't even exist. And I know Kucinich has a lot of support in this area.

All the Republican candidates were mentioned, even those with very low poll ratings (4 percent).

The local stations may not do the polling but they should be asking questions instead of being a mouthpiece for whatever info they are handed.

For those in central Texas I'm talking about KXAN, an NBC affiliate. If you saw this coverage and want to give them hell here's a contact email:

Also contact NBC

1. It really says a lot about what kind of people have a chance at ever becoming President
of the u$a. What an indictment of our system, right there.

3. Yeah, you're invited to the Democracy feast and you can have ANYTHING on the table.
But you can't choose what (or who) is served up. Just toss alot of insiders out there to make it look like there's a BIG choice.

2. It's the most powerful weapon tptb has.
They don't have truth. They don't have the issues. They can only do their best to silence him, and ridicule him in the media.

or minimize the sense of scale in our numbers. Very convincing trick they used to convince us there were alot more neocons than there are too.

7. Was NBC the station that took down their online polls that showed Kucinich
doing well? I can't recall when that was (maybe August or Sept?). Anyone recall?
There was a big flap about it at least among DUers.

9. If Kucinich would get to speak more, he would lose more votes.
I've seen this with other so called "progressive" candidates. The more they talk the fewer votes they get.

13. The F----ing media has picked the candidates. Dennis, Biden and
many others are better than Hillary and more experienced. The F---king corporatist media is going to shred her too. Does anyone think the brain dead delusional republicans are going to vote for her? I don't know a single one who will vote for her.
She and Bill are DLD republican light and they still won't vote for her.
If she had stayed in the Senate, she could have done some real good. All she is going to do is guanantee that we get some freak rePIG again.

14. Wouldn't it be awesome if DK got elected Prez and we got to kick
all the anti-democratic, anti-everything decent bad guys to the curb? Realistically, Dennis is the only candidate that would seriously make an attempt to make it all up front and righteous.

I am just so totally sick of having to protect and defend my country and my children from ignorant homegrown corrupt greedy fascist perverts and the phony creeps that support them and their agenda.

16. Kucinich has way less than 4%
Should equal time be given to any dilettante who can come up with a filing fee? That way lies chaos.
