Bush No. 41 hints Bush No. 43 will settle in Dallas
http://www.guidelive.com/sharedcontent/dws/ent/columnists/apeppard/stories/DN-peppard_1114gl.ART.State.Edition1.d253fb.html
At Monday's Celebration of Reading event at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, former President George H.W. Bush hinted at what most people suspected all along – that his eldest son, President George W. Bush, and his wife, Laura, will be moving to Dallas after they vacate the White House.

No. 41 read a magazine piece he wrote for FYI on tips for ex-presidents. He prefaced it by telling the Dallas audience, "Some of you might find yourself living next door to a president of the United States. If that happens, just be kinder and gentler to them."

......................................................

so much for the pigfarm.. It was just a prop..conveniently located in the middle of NOWHERE..designed to make the press as UNCOMFORTABLE as possible,..
Mission Accomplished ²

1. So he's moving to a blue county.

That bodes well for his standard of living.

Sorry Dallas, for the worsening of your air quality.

Good news for Crawford, bad news for Dallas.

5. If they ever give Texas an enema, and there are many locations
here to compete for the honor, Dallas is where they will put the tube in.

naughty. Still I don't wish any harm. There's always hell for that.

9. Rumor in Dallas is Bu$h-Jr bought a corner lot on Euclid in Highland Park.
Edited on Sat Nov-17-07 08:32 PM by DemoTex
Rumor is he paid $10-million. Rumor is its the lot where the Romano's (Macaroni Grill, etc) house used to be, right across Euclid from Cheney's old place.

Edit: Romanos founded Macaroni Grill, not Romeros.

12. Just be kinder & gentler to my spoiled-rotten, callous son.
Edited on Sat Nov-17-07 08:59 PM by 8_year_nightmare
Always let him have his way...

Have a drink with him...

Give him a hand when he gets lost...

Bolster him when he needs it...

Overlook his petulance...

...and when he gets too big for his britches...

Let him go first through doorways...

Hide any unpleasantly-headlined tabloids in the supermarket check-out aisles...

And please feel free to donate any unused prescriptions to dear Laura, who is at the end of her rope...

13. ahhh yes
Moved to Houston in 92 and got stopped many times by 41's motorcade. Moved back to Dallas last year, live in the shadow of where W's moving, so I'm REALLY excited. People didn't hate 41. Why are the Bushies following me??? Security is going to be sooo bad. I wish he'd just go away. Far away. My neighbor works for the SMU library foundation.....she says it's been a nightmare working with them. Very few of the normal people in Dallas want W back here. Wish it was up to us.

16. Highland Park truly is the Heart of Darkness.
The sulfurous stench remains from Cheney's time there. I occasionally catch the noxious waft, still to this day, from where I live in east Dallas.

I guess Junior wants to live near his new pResidential lie-bary, so he can check in with those rewriting his legacy, were he'll throw down the compliment, "Heckuva job brown nosers!"

17. It will take him a while to finish coloring all the pictures in the book .
Being close will be a good thing..

He can have his breakfast
watch cartoons
play some nintendo
take a nap
then go to the lie-berry to color
then back home for dinner
watch some "Cops"
and to bed by 9
