THe next president will likely appoint at least 2 justices. If you really want another Scalia on the bench then stay home or vote 3rd Party. You do so at your peril.

Considering this problem is the problem from which all the rest spring, color me suprised.

maybe the poll results will shift as we get a larger statistical sample.

After all, if the Constittuion were still functional, we wouldn't even BE in Iraq, and most of thes rest of it wouldn't have happened, as well.

Every one of the most serious conditions in this country find their roots in unbridled corporatism ... global corporate colonialism. When "American interests" are referenced, it's ALWAYS corporate (property) interests, NOT human rights or equitable treatment of labor. The health care problems are rooted in an insurance industry that holds ENORMOUS reserves in corporate stock and profits from WITHHOLDING medical care from human beings. Iraq is almost nothing BUT corporate profiteering, not only in the very casus belli (foreign corporate entitlements to national oil resources made superior to those of the PEOPLE of that nation) but in the distribution of BILLIONS of dollars obtained from increased taxpayer DEBT to narrow corporate interests (e.g. Halliburton) WITHOUT even having the bid/compete process proclaimed as "holy" in a "free market" mythology. Even in the exploitation of the plantation economy of Mexico that fails to educate and employ its own people, US corporate interests perpetuate the conditions (through colonial AGENTS in the "ruling class") and the TRAFFIC IN HUMAN LABOR under the thin disguise of "immigration laws." (Which have NOTHING to do with "immigration" other than to stifle it.)

It's insane that the bald-faced privateering and exploitation of working people proceeds without widespread riots and civil unrest. Where's the national strike? We don't fucking deserve to call ourselves a "democracy" ... not even close anymore. We're nothing but stooges to whatever corporate logo we ally with.
