I have to agree. I am torn between Obama and Biden, but Biden certainly got my attention last night.

2. I'm warming up to Biden, too -- he's had the most direct answers
and he's a whiz at the one-liners. Plus, he would fight like HELL against any Rethug; no swift-boating of this guy.

27. He had to.
He is the senator from DELAWARE. The next time you pay a credit card bill, take a look at the mailing address; it's usually Delaware. It's a tiny state and that's the main business there. His loyalty is to his state.

34. What's the problem LSK & others who think the BK bill was bad?
Edited on Fri Nov-16-07 07:36 PM by 1corona4u
Don't like him, don't vote for him. I use to like Edwards, but since he became a whiny snively ass, I can't stand him. So what if he voted for the bankruptcy bill. People shouldn't accept credit accounts if they can't pay them. People are responsible for their own debts, and shouldn't look to the government for a bail out. At 50 years old, I have been in credit crunches in my life, but never have I had to file BK. That's the easy way out.

37. Thats what it has become
I like Obama as VP I simply can not trust Edwards... He is just about opposite of HIS voting record now. I don't trust Edwards any where except UN. I bet he has too much ego to accept anything less than prez. I am convinced Edwards is in it for himself. Not US. Biden IS.

and have been wondering why no one else couldn't see what I see, they seem to stick to their candidates because of all of the coverage. We need someone who will not hem and haw when debating the CONS...Plus the fact that he knows what a lot about foreign affairs as well as domestic issues. I don't want the General election being about some little issues that has nothing to do with a lot of the problems that affect us as well as the world.

22. Well, he simply showed a wisdom, a combination of intelligence, experience, passion,....
,...fortitude and honesty,...that, the rest did not hold.

He really "hit it" when he pointed out that, the "Patriot Act" did NOT NOT NOT give this administration the authorization to violate the Constitution or to engage in unauthorized surveillance of American citizens.

He is right.

There is some ambiguous language that this administration has manipulated to its benefit. However, if taken to the Supreme Court, constitutional lawyers would certainly win over this administration's intentional misinterpretation of such language.

Biden took the strongest stand IN THE BALANCE OF POWERS AND THE RULE OF LAW, refusing to be swayed by this administration's abuses and the failures of Congress to hold their feet to the flame of justice. I find that impressive in spite of my serious concerns with this administration's capacity to,...well, you know,...tank right through this country in its last breath.

The one uncertainty I have about Biden is whether or not he will FORCE accountability upon those who have betrayed our nation and our people in the most incomprehensible ways.

I NEED JUSTICE!!!

25. Biden saying that criminal charges should be brought against Bush and Cheney
Sen. Biden Suggests Criminal Charges Against Bush Officials
Impeachment has been making headlines recently in the city of Kent, Ohio. Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden has suggested criminal charges could someday be filed against members of the Bush administration. In a recent interview with Newsweek, Biden said there are alternatives to the impeachment of President Bush. Biden said: "I think we should be acquiring and accumulating all the data that is appropriate for possibly bringing criminal charges against members of this administration at a later date."
