The Capitol Christmas Tree Is On Its Way To D.C.
It was cut down today in the Green Mountain National Forest. 55 feet of fragrant balsalm. Not exactly earth shaking news, I know. But it's Vermont's gift to the nation this holiday season.

And it's snowing like mad here.

Love it.

5. OK - I wasn't thinking about the Jesus tree topper
I was thinking where I wanted to Capital tree to be stuffed ;)

You know - kinda like this joke:

One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip but there were problems everywhere. Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule.

When he began to load the sleigh, one of the boards cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hid the liquor and there was nothing to drink.

Just then the doorbell rang and Santa cussed on his way to the door. He opened the door and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa. Isn't it just a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?

3. In unrelated news,
I expect that Ricky Hatton is going to give my best friend Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather a tougher fight than most "experts" anticipate.

Something I know nothing about- except I did once know an ex-amateur boxer once. He had a cauliflower ear.

7. nope
you've got it upside down. Vermont is the best state in the Union. And that's not just my extreme partisanship.

:hi:
