One of the worst and saddest photos of McCain i've ever seen.

This was in my local paper this morning but much bigger, it was an article about how he's touting his "Green credentials" but i thought the pic was telling, he looks defeated.

Expect a lot more lost puppy dog like photos of him in the future.

16. Done
He realized too late that he sold his soul. Unfortunately there is no "darth vader" moment where he can vanquish the sith lord and banish neo-conservatism from the republican party, those days are over.

13. He's proof of the validity of the old saying about reaping what
you sow.

It's just paybacks. And well deserved.

He was always a sneaky dishonest piece of shit.

18. The cold calculus of politics
I still reccomend his book "Character is Destiny", good for those of us who still have some sort of high minded ideals (also quite politically neutral).

27. I've never forgotten how he allowed his own daughter to be viciously smeared.
What kind of a man does that..just to garner some votes?

21. Poor guy. He seemed like a good man in '00. Another victim of the Bush years, it seems.
Sold his soul to the devil, and regrets it.

22. He was a good man. But he was not a victim of the Bush years; he was a victim of his own desire
for power overtaking his desire for truth. In the end, he lost his essence - the strong moral resolve
that made him who he was - and became just another groveling sycophant at Bush's heels.
Sad.
