Family Shielded From Radical Protest
RICHMOND, Vt. -- Hundreds of people turned out to pay their respects to Adam Muller, 21, a U.S. Army private from Richmond who was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq last week.
NewsChannel 5's Stewart Ledbetter reported that more than 300 people packed the Richmond Congregational Church and the crowd spilled over outside of the building. American flags lined the town streets.
The funeral was picketed by three members of the Westboro Baptist Church, an anti-gay group from Kansas that stages protests at military funerals around the nation. But police kept the group 1/4 mile away and out of view of mourners on their way into the church.

http://www.wptz.com/news/14605551/detail.htmlI am so sick of attending funerals of Vermonters killed in this insane war. The 5th Vermonter killed was my Godson, Capt. Pierre Piche, I had hoped at the time that he would be the last! Now unfortunately we have lost more of our young citizens, per capita, than any other state.
