Just in case anyone is waiting to donate because they want the powerups to be spent first -- Please donate now. You do not have to use your steps at the same time that you donate. You can save them until later.

But it's going to take forever to end this thing if everybody waits until the powerups are spent.

there should have been a 'life span' on the power-ups.
Like they are only good for 48 hours after being found.
Just a thought....the suspense is killing me. :P

Ever since one of the persons holding a power up told folks he was going to use it to boost his candidate to the front, I've not donated, as I felt my donation would be for naught, as I'm supporting another candidate. I was waiting until after 900 donations were made so that I knew my donation and steps would count for something and not be wasted.

As another poster said, I believe it would be better next time if the power ups were used withing 48 hours of someone getting them. I think it would boost the donations, too.

Put a "use-it-or-lose it" feature.. 3 hours or it goes back into the pile :evilgrin:

or a SOOPERDOOPER power every hour that allows someone to STEAL other's unused powers :evilgrin:

As cool as the super powers are, I think it slowed down donations :(

10. Those suggestions are awesome

"Use-it-or-lose it" would be great: strike while the iron is hot, be at home and dressed up when opportunity knocks, whatever other cliches might be appropriate.

Putting an unused powerup back up for grabs if it is not used would be a terrific incentive to use them, as would having several "theft" powerups available. Call those "The Watergate Effect" or something.
